When traveling nationally & internationally I land up paying for incoming marketing sms, neither I subscribed it for nor I know how do they get my number but for sure I don't want to pay for their marketing.How can I stop receiving marketing sms when in roaming, these are bulk sms sent via computer software, my number is in DND but nothing helps as of now.Does vodafone provide any service that only receive sms from the contact list I have in my mobile?

No idea about incoming SMS. AFAIK, incoming SMS are totally free when roaming nationally within India. You might wanna call vodafone cc and ask if they have any solution to your problem!
