How do I access hard drive connected to Reliance Jio Fiber router?

I have connected a hard drive in the USB port of the ONT device. However while trying to access the FTP setup menu in the router under Advance menu option, I dont see FTP setup menu exist. There are several Youtube videos showing that there is an FTP menu available, not sure why I don't see that in my ONT. I cant even access the hard drive through ftp://192.168.29.1. Any advice?

Can anyone guide me how to use DMS server on Jio Fiber Router (JCO4032)? Recently I upgraded from 2.4Ghz one, unfortunately I can't see any FTP server option in the new one. I followed tutorials (For using DMS Server) available on youtube but can't get it to work, a media server is showing in network but I can't access it. One weird thing I saw on a YouTube tutorial was that a person using older firmware of the same router was getting FTP option. Also both the attached drives show "no" under shared column, I don't know why and there is no option to change it.

@MaxSpeed Jio has removed the option in the recent update.

@Dave thanks. So is there any other ways of using a storage device by connecting it to the ONT device?

This stupid box is so locked down that probably the only thing we can do is plug in a drive and play files directly from it (and even that lacks basics such as subtitle support).

You meant plug a drive in the STB?

Right, yes, I meant the STB in that case. The USB ports on the ONT seem pretty useless. Don't think anyone's got the DMS Server working either (matter of fact, can't even turn the DMS option off under Settings).

Apart from Jio, I dont think anyone else has such a stupid ONT device. Airtel VIP plan one year in advance seems quite interesting. Understand that in Gurgaon Airtel is offering 1GBPS speed at 25K a year with free Linksys Velop 3 nodes Mesh router. Cheaper than Jio Diamond plan.

VIP plan is ₹3999/mo + GST. How's it 25k a year?

25k a year plan is Premium plan with 300Mbps/500GB data. It is not 1Gbps plan.
