how does ps3 and wi-fi devices communicate with Reliance netconnect

Hi All,I am planning to go for Reliance netconnect. However my question is how will wi-fi devices communicate with the netconnect modem. e.g my ps3 is wi-fi enabled and communicates with the wireless modem provided by BSNL. how will this function with the reliance netconncet modem. Please help me out to understand before I commit.

Hi All,Today I had been to the reliance center to take a demo of the reliance Netconnect. I asked this question to one of the tech guys there and he informed me that this modem will work only with a single laptop or desktop that it is connected to. It cannot communicate with other wi-fi devices or cannot be connected to wi-fi router.This would be a great drawback if you have other devices or even if you are planning to use the same conncetion for a desktop and laptop through a wi-fi router.Did any of you consider this before buying. leasehelp:leasehelp:

well it runs through a USB modem so it is pretty clear that it would be very hard to make it work with routers or other devices.

another option could be to connect it on one system and create a ad-hoc wi-fi network and do a Internet Connection Sharing(ICS). However not sure how this will work in practicality.Can someone try this and let me know how it works leasehelp:leasehelp:leasehelp:Reliance could have come out with better USB nodems which can also transmit wi-fi signals.:wall::wall::wall:

Guys you can now get 3G / EVDO routers here in India that will work with the Reliance card.

I personally have the small portable one the HM433R from Hame. It does everything that I want it to do and more.

All those products mentioned on ebay r damn costly...I had seen dis 1 at Lamington road (The Mecca for all hardware in mumbai), it costs around 3600 bux n has 3 LAN ports along with WLAN.:bowtoyou:
