Pretty much the question is in the title.
Currently looking to switch from crappy Jio Airfiber to something that works.
I was wonder how is your experience with Tata Play Fiber.
This is an old thread, but I just wanted to share that I am using Tata Play fiber for last 4 months in Pune and there has not been even a single day downtime uptill now. The connection is stable and good. No speed issues as well.
Whereas when I was on Airtel every month there would be a downtime of 3 - 4 days.
At new place where I would be moving, I have only 2 options - Airtel FTTH and Jio AirFiber.
Builder not giving more than 2 NOC. So most residents are saying Airtel is better to have than nothing.
Some people said Airtel was better with no downtime in last 2 years compared to Tata Play, which also had speed issues.
Jio was first choice, but they are not providing Fiber.
Jio Air Fiber is pathetic. Don't go for it. If Tata FTTH is not available then go for Airtel FTTH. Whenever issues occur & they do not promptly address, write to [email protected] raising your concerns.
Airtel or Tata FTTH, forget the so called airfibre solutions. They are sub optimal and only good if you have absolutely no other choice.
I've used both FTTH solutions for years now and other than some niggles have no major complaints. I live in Camp area near KP so performance is good for both providers. It's important to understand that service quality and speeds MAY vary in different areas. Try to get feedback from the current set of users/neighbours and go in for the one that they vouch for.
