How long does incoming last on Jio after validity expires. I would mostly need it for incoming sms

So I know for BSNL it's a week. And Airtel and Vi have got confirmation that it's 3 days.

Got mixed responses on Jio online and no one around me knows for sure.

Kind of thinking if should consider porting a secondary number to Jio. As they don't have low cost plans, thinking if can use this metric as well to decide.

90 days or so

i havent recharged my secondly sim since march now
and it still works ,i would do a basic recharge next month to keep it active or just remove that number from anything important

They have set the limit on the number of days before disconnection. I think its still up to operators to decide till when to allow incoming services?

I guess I will port to Jio then - as kind of makes sense for a number that I want to keep as incoming (SMS) only mainly.

Yeah even im thinking to port my main sim to Jio and stop recharging it for months lol

Right. Even in my case, I dont intend to "not" recharge for months together. Just that, I dont "really" use it for calling/internet - so seems excessive to keep recharging without any use except for incoming - will probably still recharge after a break of a month for the minimum possible days.
I need to complete the required 90 days on Airtel though.

Why don't people move to single sims though? 🤔 Recharge whatever you need from that. Plans are expensive enough nowadays to consider moving from multiple sims to single/main sim only.
