549rs 1mbps unlimited, can take such extra connection even keep airtel. I was at 750rs 256kbps unlimited plan of Airtel and they offered best when i was disconnecting Airtel 1300rs/month 512 kbps unlimited. So its kinda exactly 550rs difference between 750 and 1300. What i would have done if not disconnecting Airtel for keeping best CC and 100% uptime(although i didn't face any downtime yet in Reliance), i would take Reliance 549rs 1mbps connection so its still worth it. Giving double speed which Airtel offers at 1300rs/month.Airtel 256kbps unlimited @750rs with Reliance 1mbps Thunder 549=1300rs with total speed 1mbps+256kbps of airtel==1300kbps instead 512kbps if you take Airtel only. Problem? :D

yeah guys u must all try it... lower your monthly plan and apply for reliance ....its worth it ..keep both connection for some time and then decide ....which one you want .

had plans but they told, the connection is not feasible in the part of city(Kakkanad, Cochin) where I live.

Just called the sales guy & he would come tomorrow to check availability at the EDP & further details. For now I would be keeping the AIRTEL broadband as well until current billing cycle & then get it removed if I am even remotely satisfied... :)

you should add another option just an insult to injury of airtel.... I am not on airtel and would not liek to get airtel at all ever in my life ....

But Reliance service network is pretty thin. They don't cover all the areas even in a city. Even if a locality is covered they refuse connection if the distance is +120 mts from EDP (what I was told). They can never beat AIRTEL any-time soon & AIRTEL would take this advantage to screw its customer. Customer care of Reliance is nothing to write home about...
