Was going to buy the TP-Link WR740N as suggested by @chaibiskutbhai but was also looking at the model WR720N which seems the same except that it has only 2 LAN ports and no external antenna. I have no issue with 2 ports. My only doubt is if the internal antenna will badly affect the range.
In my house in Pune, the range required is perhaps 30 feet. with 2 walls obstruction. In my Mumbai flat also the max range is the same but more walls.
Would the WR720N range be enough or should I not take a chance and go with the WR740N?
My reason for preferring the internal antenna is the cleaner look.

@Daddycool you should certainly opt for 740n for a better wifi range and signal.and you can move the antenna to a position which will give it a cleaner look.

Internal antenna may not be the best idea if one has to bypass walls. Go for the 740N.

^ How about iOS? Does it also have that feature?
BTW was wondering if I can use a ADSL modem plus wifi router and configure it for Tikona. I remember reading that we can connect the Tikona LAN cable out of the ruckus box to the LAN 1 connection of the adsl modem/router and configure as bridge and it works. Any idea about that?
No idea about notification on iOS. But that should not be a problem. You can bookmark the login page and do the needful.
Technically, yes, one can use an ADSL modem/router. However, most of these do not allow for DHCP use without using ADSL port. In such a case, your router becomes a switch! The other workaround is using a static IP, for which Tikona charges 1000/yr.

No. When you connect a router, Tikona registers the MAC of only the router. It does not matter how many devices you connect to the router.

In the above example, the Router is connected to a TV and a PC via LAN and to a mobile, a laptop and a tablet by wifi.
Tikona will register two MACs in this case, one for the LAN and one for the WAN.
If you clone the LAN's MAC to your WAN, then it will register only one MAC.
hi this is manish
