How to access YouTube on Amazon Fire TV Stick now?

Based on reports, YouTube might disappear from this device next month. Even though it is not an official app from Google from my understanding.

havent checked my fire tv stick yet. silk browser seems to manage youtube quite well. though i guess casting support would not be there.

ui is pretty similar to an app. but without casting support from youtube app on phone, it is not very convenient to use. my niece is very used to using the cast button to switch from phone to tv to watch her arts and craft videos.

fire tv remote app is too annoying to use ?. loses connection as soon as you switch focus out of the app. even the hardware remote is too glitchy for me. could be the same issue that @Nishant was facing on his unit. he argued with Amazon customer support to get a replacement under warranty. he was asked to order a new remote (which costs as much as half the cost of the fire tv stick itself!) and then he was to get a refund of that amount or something like that.

tried it today. looks good. does it autostart videos for you? i have to press play button using remote to get the video to play.

I usually play bollywood station and once I play a video, it keeps playing next videos. Once I open an video, it is playing without the need to press play button. I am using the second option which is 1080p option.

second option did not work on fire tv stick for me ?

It asked for extra module(libraries) installation. After I installed that module, it is working fine. I am using it on Fire TV box(not the stick) though.
I am using it on Mi Box too. 4k version works like a charm and even 4k60fps plays smoothly too.

Sorry for taking this offtopic, But is Mi Box better than firestick, considering that they both cost the same

Also, I'm too skeptical buying stuff from China, Is there any other way to get it ?
