Yes. Your GPON SN is SCOM + last 8 digits of MAC address. Letters in small. At least my letters which I inputted in ONU are small. I just checked mine and it’s in this format as per what @kbhatt said few posts above. It will save a huge hassle of obtaining Telnet rights on newer firmwares.

Have you faced this kind of issue? I've the updated the firmware provided by @Zuke but still facing this issue.
The LAN lights get's off when PON cable connected.
And PON light stays blinking.
The Router shows WAN port is disconnected, as the LAN gets off.
I even have messaged you in TG. I don't know if that's you or not.

No, i am not facing any issue, so I am using my TP-Link xz000-g3 V1 is now working with brazilian firmware...

Yeah I saw that he replied my TG message, so i suspect that there is some kind of onu lan port is automatically disconnected when his fiber pon cable is plugged in ... I think it there is defective ONU...
