How to block incoming calls from a number on my landline?

I'm getting unwanted calls from a cell phone no on my Airtel landline. I wish to block it. May I know the procedure? I have done this before a long time back, but right now I don't remember the procedure. Please help

Have you tried asking Airtel Support ?


Airtel seems to have discotinued certain services. I am not even able to enable Do-Not-Disturb feature.

Now I use the caller id to ignore unwanted calls.

Even android has Call blocker apps on Play Store, and even has an option to block calls from unknown numbers. Then why no such feature on a landline? Which needs even more security than android

I am not sure but I think a landline phone model worth 20,000 could have such a feature. Most of us are using basic devices with little effort spent on the software part.

This sucks because even my old backup chinese mobile which I bought for 500 Rs has an inbuilt call blacklist feature. Then why can't landline phones have such a feature too or airtel for that matter?
