I use this

Codebox Software - BitMeter OS

Problems with using softwares is that I use multiple machines at my place. Installing and checking for usage on each machine will be a pain.
I also went to airtel.in under Personal Information, but I can see any option to check unbilled amount. :(
Can anyone be more specific?

goto airtel.in and register yourself.you can check your account data

Thanks for the response but can you be a bit more specific where?

some routers also allow bandwidth monitoring. but yeah, better to check the usage on airtel.in if you can find out how to.

This precisely is the purpose of the thread :P

first register at this url given by warthog

then login here

after logging in click on "Account Information"

then click on the "Airtel Number" related to your broadband account

there you will find links to check your unbilled usage

Amen mate! For one month, they managed to fool me; when I inquire about it, I was always told - you are using a UL connection, why bother about the data usage?

Luckily, I faced a few problems with my connection speed back then, and they were able to sort out all the messes in one go!

Call up Airtel customer support everyday and ask them how much you have downloaded.....hopefully that will make them mad enough to remove your Fair Usage Policy limits

considering they are charging for calls to customer care, its not a good idea.

Thank you so much guys!Indeed cc guys are a bunch of clowns and indeed I can see my usage albeit after some time gap from the billing cycle start.
