How to configure Tatasky STB with A/V in to Lenovo PC with built in TV tuner card with media center

HiCan anybody help me to configure Tata Sky STB with AV in (not thro RF, it works well but inferior quality) with windows media center?The problem is it scans in composite video and picture can be seen in a small window, however in next step it asks for IR receiver detection.what is IR receiver and where to get it and how to connect, only then the set up is complete to watch tatasky thro AV input.have anybody tried successfully or is there any other way to configure for AV input. please helpregardsSinclair

I have setup AV Out on my Pinnacle TV TUner Card and AV supports only with the Piannacle Software. Other software the Audio and Video will not be in Sync.

Use the Software application other than the Windows Media Center.

However i have doubt whether pinnacle software works for my TV tuner card, also can you tell me where can i get the software?

Well Pinnacle may not identify the hardware in the laptop. Figure out what is the brand of the TV Tuner Card and try to find out the software application for that.
