Hello Everyone,

I live in a 2 floor house and have a TP-Link c7 router connected on a 300mbps fiber connection. As of now, c7 is in mesh with re220 to extend the network. I am planning to buy tp link archer c6.

Main reason for the same is:

1. To extend the signals

2. To get proper speed as on re220, speed doesnt cross 50mbps in spite of being dual band.

Kindly suggest if it would be a good decision to loop in c6 in c7's mesh network and whether c6 and c7 can connect wirelessly or not.

Thanks in advance

I think you should be able to connect C6 to C7. Use C7 as the main router and C6 as the extender.

That said, I don't know how good the performance will be, considering the concrete in between when linked wirelessly. I would suggest wiring up a cable to get best performance.

RE220 doesn't look very good, it only has a 10/100Mbps port and when connected wirelessly I'm assuming the concrete floor is destroying the speed.

I would just want to be sure that both the routers can connect wireless as c6 would be placed on ground floor and c7 (main router) would be placed on 1st floor.
Moreover, how can I connect them wirelessly.

Hi @Sushubh you comments pls
