So I have two routers.
Archer C6 v2, and D-Link DIR-600M.
The main connection of excitel of mine is on Archer C6 which is a copper connection (not fiber).
What i want to do is have internet connection on my first floor. I tried it by using the wifi repeater thing in DIR-600M but it used the wifi connection of my main router (c6) in order to extend it but the speed was very slow (around 1mbps) so i am thinking to wire a long ethernet cable on the router(dir600m) from my main router (c6) in order to make internet work faster on first floor.
Is it possible? if yes then how to do it?
Thanks!

@Shanmu54321 Hey thanks dude i tried it with a small ethernet cable, reset the router, turned off dhcp and it worked.
I have two questions :
1. When i go to 192.168.0.1 by connecting to D-Link router via wifi it shows me the TP-Link router login page not the dlink one.
2. The ethernet will be of 5-10m will it decrease the speed of dlink wifi router? Also what cable RJ45 or CAT6 will be compatible?

@JB701 Thank you for the answer but which cable is compatible RJ45 or CAT6 ? I'm little confused between the two.
And yes both TP-Link and D-Link have same ip, i will surely change it.
