How to get a micro-SIM for Airtel Prepaid Mobile Connection

Can someone tell me the procedure for getting a micro sim for Airtel?
It's a pre paid connection.

You would need to go to the nearest Airtel relationship center, pay Rs 25 and submit passport photo and ID/Address proof for a new sim.
I would recommend just getting your existing sim cut to size at a local mobile store, would only take a minute and won't cost more than Rs 20.

If you get a new sim both incoming and outgoing smses will be blocked for 1 day

I recommend new microsim instead of cutting. when i cut my airtel sim for moto E, the locking was not proper. Got a new sim from stores.

Get a sim cutter from ebay instead.

I would recommend you to get a brand new proper micro sim from Airtel so that you don't get into hassle of cutting it or hoping it to work ... and Sim cutters at ebay cost rs 100 Plus , shop will take rs 20 and will not take the risk of not working of the sim , so Airtel's way is cheapest/safest/best option for you. leasantry: eaceful:
