How to get a new adsl modem from reliance?

Hello guys i applied for reliance thunder 699 and got it installed today. the technician installed a wire and attached an adsl modem which was used now how to get a new modem from them? Because he was trying to escape when i asked him to install a new and he was saying only used modem will be installed. So how can i bug them to get a new modem? Btw i'm from hyderabad...

Why do you need a brand new modem? Is anything wrong in your current modem?Reliance usually cycles their modems...they installed a refurbished or a modem which must have been used by some other customer.If your modem has any sort of problem then you can ask them get a replacement.Still,you won't be getting a new one for sure.

right now they have no stock for new modem at all

Call customer care ....n ask them to check yr wire line
