I have read it on xda to configure your google voice number on a SIP. So it is possible.

kickass, I am very well aware of this situation, however my question is specifically for Indian phone number, Ihave someone in India and I want them to call me in India ..what do ?
there is restrition in India cause telephone ministry wont allow call termination in India thus making VOIP impossible in India...
btw I do know how you feel, I used to master in Flash, now days I even cant make simple action script in it...
don't bother searching for indian number for sip phone. i had spent innumerable weeks. the termination charges makes it impossible. there is no other way.

aviral ? what is that you are saying elaborate please ? I dont wanna shell out 500 for just testing on skype...I am very well aware of the post you have post you have posted link to, It says how to get a US number on GV . I am looking for Indian number... AM I not being clear here ???

^ the google ph. no method is based on using a VPN based in usa. basically u route all ur traffic through a vpn making google feel that ur based over there. again free vpn services are not dependable. paid ones usually start from $5-$10 a mth

to ad d to topic some very obscure ( but safe) VPN do provide for free ,also GV is quite available in India, i.e. you can make calls...

There was a service called jaxtr but now it has stopped giving out indian numbers and more over if you are ready to spend then skype is best option and even if you are not satisfied you can always ask for refund they process it very easily
