How to properly enable ipv6 after enabling bridge mode?

My exchange provides ipv6 and i was able to configure the wan profile in my router earlier and used to get an ipv6 range without issues.

I have recently enabled bridge mode on my BSNL provided uniway router and I use my fw to establish a pppoe connection. The ip v4 part works as expected and i get a public v4 but I am unable to get any ipv6 configuration working.

Can some one share the correct way to set the pppoe config for an ipv6 prefix ?
I am attaching the configuration options that i get from my fw.

Try setting "IPv6 addressing mode" to either "PPPoE" or "DHCP".

Also enable "DHCPv6 prefix delegation".

As suggested, PPPOE + Prefix Delegation.
If still doesn't work then get another screenshot with more options which should popup after making changes..

I have tried DHCP. It seems that ipv6 status remains as connecting.

When set to pppoe nothing happens

I dont know much about prefix configuration so I am not sure if the configuration works for BSNL. Can you check if its correct.

In the "Bridge" WAN profile in your ONT, make sure "IPv4/IPv6" is selected.

Looks like Cisco to me. Even I don't have any idea how to make it work..
What happens when you choose delegated?

Delegation -> I think it means here to get delegated ipv6 address from another interface on the firewall. Its a fortigate device btw.

Earlier I had a similar setup but with jio airfiber. I had skipped their wifi router and plugged the outdoor cpe straight into my firewall. I was able to request multiple /64's from jio and assign them to downstream lan interfaces and everything just worked.

Could it be that the onu is blocking certain ipv6 packets or is everything over PPP encapsulation ?

That shouldn't be the case. You can try making PPPOE on your PC by changing MAC address for the Network Adaptor. Enable ipv6 if not on by default.. If that works then we are in the wrong with the configuration going above our heads for ipv6.
I don't think I can help you with this one but maybe someone who knows fortigate will be able to help you..
