UPDATE:
Brdr @mayankfawkes here was using the current Account Number (found in the Airtel Thanks app) as the password instead of the Relationship ID found in your old Airtel Xstream eBills, due to which he was unable to establish PPPoE session on his Archer C6 v2.
We tried with the Relationship ID and everything worked perfectly and he didn't even have to get in touch with Airtel CC to avail the benefits of bridge mode.
This is not an isolated incident as many other folks also discovered it the hard way, that their password was the old Relationship ID and it was their struggle against the whims of Airtel which paved the way for our success today. Thus, I hereby express my heartfelt gratitude towards those pioneers
