jio fiber sits in my hall filling it with 5ghz wifi for everyone, and for people further to the room has a 15 meter long ethernet cable connected to a c60 for 5ghz connection. But theres other rooms thats not getting enough signal, so how do i use my older c50 as a extender for the other rooms by using the c60's signal. Kinda like mesh. Without any wires(ethernet cable) hanging around from c60 to c50.

Hi!

First, reset the c50 login using details supplied in back of c50 router either wireless or via LAN cable.

Now, go Network > LAN > give a static IP having same range of your c60 (e.g., if c60 has 192.168.1.50, give c50 as 192.168.1.51) > reboot

Login using new c50's IP > Wireless > Enable WDS > Scan for SSID (WiFi Network Name) of your c60 router > enter wifi password and save.

You will see above the Enable WDS box, there are setting for WiFI name/password for your c50 router. You can have same WiFi details of your c60 or can give new WiFi name/password if required.

Most likely c50 has separate setting for 5GHz & 2.4GHz WiFi, you can keep 2.4GHz disabled also.

In c50, go to DHCP > and Disable the DHCP server.
