How to use static IP with bridged mode?

@anmolbhard004 thanks for the info, I have only heard about Deco, do not have physical experience with them , so I want to know before purchasing, which one shall I buy in terms of performance, as I can see there are multiple brands selling mesh routers.

got my hands on the G3 v1 today. Did the below and got the pppoe connection working.

1. Set the serial number of my Nokia ONU(sticker behind) to the XZ000-G3 in 16 Digit Hexadecimal format. Mind that only the first 4 characters need to be converted to hex format, so in my case it was ALCL so its "414c434cXXXXXXXX", the X's are the remaining characters in the serial number behind the airtel router.

2. now, perform a vlan scan in the ONU, get the vlan id, it was 980 in my case. Set the Vlan Mode to "Vlan Tag mode" and enter the vlan id in the dialog box below "Vlan Tag mode".

Dial the connection from either laptop or router and it works!. I'm quite surprised because i switched to static IP 2 weeks ago and i always thought my dial up connection is automatically terminated. Looks like that's not the case.

Although i'm quite happy with the result. i have a static IP provisioned and i couldn't get the static IP to work through this ONU. Tried creating a Static IP internet connection type with the IP details from Airtel router, Still no luck :(

If anybody managed to setup a Static IP connection with the G3 V1. Please guide me, Thanks!

Brdr, congratulations on making it work first of all!!!

Also, I have a static IP and it works flawlessly with the G3v1 I have in my possession.
Which WAN profile are you extracting the Static IP details from?

From what I can tell, you're trying to put the PPPoE IP address which isn't the Static IP you're thinking it to be.
Check the Network >> WAN section to see if you have a profile with Static IP and internet enabled on it. The WAN profile you mentioned would have PPPoE as the connection type.
Do take a look and let us know.

@tr1k0N4 , i think you missed to check this URL( Airtel-static hosted at ImgBB ). the URL contains a screenshot of my static IP setting from the Airtel Nokia router. i have configured the same IP in my personal router.

BTW, i thought it could be a limitation with my Deco router since deco routers anyways have very limited settings that can be configured, so i went a purchased a Archer C6 for testing and it has the same issue. I can dial to PPPOE just fine. But Static IP is not working.
