HSGQ ODI / DFP-34X-2C2 GPON ONU SFP

yea i did that cloning SN and VLAN 100 but pppoe doesnt connect. i think its something to do with the Alcatel OLT used in my area
 
Yeah this is something I’ve observed as well, basically what happens is, to keep customer side VLAN constant, there is a mapping of the real VLAN to the customer side VLAN (which is always 100 in case of Airtel). So the real VLAN varies with each area. Ideally this mapping is done automatically as part of a OMCI message from the OLT to ONT and is handled transparently. But in some ONTs maybe due to compatibility issues this mapping doesn’t happen, and you’d need to find out the real VLAN and use it.

If there is an OMCI client available on the ONT you can use that to find the real VLAN as well. I had written about my experience finding the real VLAN in another post.

 
@MrGordon Another thing I noticed is that I needed to be in PPPoE mode for my VSOL to discover VLAN. It showed empty VLAN in bridge mode.
Some Alcatel (Nokia) OLTs need more info like HW Manufacturer 4 letters, ONU Software version and HW Revision to be able to reach O5 Certified state of PON. Then only the VLAN can be discovered by 171 command.

In short, you are using VSOL or HSGQ ONUs based on Realtek chipset and your FTTH service provider is using Alcatel OLTs, you need to clone as much Hardware info of ISP provided Gateway/ONT/ONU to be successful.

I have plugged HSGQ stick in my ubiquiti switch. It shows up fine but there is no temperature.

 Temp - Internally measured transceiver temperatures.
 Voltage - Internally measured supply voltage.
 Current - Measured TX bias current.

I dont have a APC fiber cable plugged into it yet. Is the stick supposed to show a temperature? @anmolbhard004
 
Can someone please provide me with the HSGQ-XPON-Stick (APC) v8 SPI Flash .bin file, my SFP had got bricked so I fixed it with the ODI modified SPI bin file but I want the unmodified SPI bin file which came with the sfp.

Or can anyone please provide me with their SFP MTD backup files who is having the same SFP Stick so I can restore it.
