it is the first smartphone in the indian market with a 1080p display. specifications are better than any other phone in the market as well. so pricing is on the line. xperia z should get a similar pricing unless of course Sony is planning a surprise.

Sony never surprises! Am sure Z would be priced upwards of 40K.

Hell.. the Xperia P that I bought for 24k five months back still retails for 22k!

in any case. these are the MRPs. so retail prices would be closer to 40K which would make it pretty close to s3/n2 at launch time. so not that bad anyways.
