well its a start atleast ...high time it kicks in and spreadsThere has to be something extra for the customer to gain for sticking with the operator for 1/2/3 years

the larger players have no incentive. mts can afford it because they are struggling to compete against the rest of the market.

mts website has a very crappy photo of the phone.

heh. well you are forgetting that mts is pretty huge in the international markets. and they probably decided to bring one of the cheaper contract phones to india to test it out as an experiment.

528 MHz processor

so yeah. its htc droid eris for sure. :D

it would be impressive if they can someday launch the cdma edition of iPhone in india https://goo.gl/XdwfQ on a similar contract basis :D

well you pay 1500 per month and you get enough free usage that would ensure that you are going to pay only that much money in the month. i am not saying it is an intelligent purchase but it is a great start.

Free Value/month – 1500 mins(Local + National), 1500 SMS(Local + National) & 1500 MB data usage

They would probably have a 4000 per month/4000 mins kind of plan

For me 2 things could have shifted in favour of going for MTS Pulse ... 1) If we were going to get Android updates 2) If it was GSM - So I can throw them out atleast after 1 year if they weren't good...

MTS actually has a pretty decent network in areas they serve in. My cousin uses their data card in Panipat and he is pretty happy with them.
