Hi, I have a BSNL broadband connect which, I have connected as a wireless setup. The setup is as follows: ADSL -> Modem (UT Starcom - UTR300R2U) -> Netgear Wgr614 v7 -> Laptop I can connect to the internet using the wireless and access all the applications but the ones on port 80. I cannot open any URL page with http:// as the start. I can open https:// or use VOIP based products, connect to VPN, etc. I think there is some reason why the modem is blocking the traffic on port 80. Is there any specific connection that needs to be enabled on the modem? Pl help. Thanks in advance.

u must have redirected port 80. if u havent configured much then try restoring to factory defaults

Tried restoring defaults still the same problem. There is a WAN setting where HTTP is not enabled. Do I need to enable this?

1.Settings in IE Internet options ? or firewall program ?

2.First try only with the modem . If you can work normally,
3.Connect the Netgear and check port forwarding page.
4.Post screen shot of modem page which you feel needs change .
5.I am checking my setup and will update.
( same set up modem Beetel or SmartAX Mt882 + SMC barricade smc7004VWBR)

UPdate 2030 my modem setting for reference. Access control.
