Huawei e173bu-1 error "cannot establish connection to the ppp server" on mtnl 3g sim

Ok. I have a Huawei e173bu-1 purchased from airtel. Unlocked. now mtnl 3g sim is not working on it. i try to connect is says cannot establish connection to the ppp server.. I have used settings as per guided online. dialing number : *99#APN : gprsppsmumusername: mtnlpass: mtnl123i am using mac os x 10.6.x. i also use windows but same problemCant get what the heck problem is.Can u helpi can use docomo sim on it. it works. when i use mtnl sim from my samsung 3g phone and connect it to comp it works but from this data card gives probulem:mad (2):thx is advance

Is you modem started working on MTNL and other operators now ??

Try using number *99***1# also with MTNL .

Also tell me the performance of Airtel E173Bu-1 modem, I want to buy as it is avalable on Rs. 999/-
