That is how its supposed to be yesBut after my Sickfy experience i just wanna make sure i dont get screwed up again 128kbps ... devided by 8 is 16kB/sis that exactly what u get?Are there no higher unlimited packages such as 256?Internet is so sad hereI was talkin with my little brother back home in Europe and he is downloading with 750kB/s on his 40 Euro/months package No download limitHe told me he got pissed off last time because his speed was slow, he only reached 400kB/s

Just working here in India...

Not only in Europe but , S-Korea and parts of Asia have neat speeds

That means he has two 128 kbps lines and not a 256 kbps connection.......

yeh. 4 guys living together sharing 2 lines of airtel 128. if they offer a single 512 for 3000 bucks, i had take it.

I seeWell..today morning the guy came and i signed up, in 2 days they come and install the junkI already knew what i wanted to have but still, this guy showed me the available packages they offerHe said that, in case i did not liked the 128 i could easely migrate and use another... at that point i got suspicious again, if this 128 doesnt work out, i dont wanna have Airtel at all! , the 128 unlimited is the reason why this guy was in my house with the papers...He also said that it will never go below 64kbps...If i look back to my 4 years of experiences with Indian Internet than i can expect 80kbps ~ 100kbps max. only, i doubt ill ever hit the 128kbps-speedIn the future we , we since im part of the Airtel BB-family now , can expect some higher unlimited speeds, such as 256kbpsI asked and according to him it might come.Lets see how it is!By the way...whats the exact kB/s u get with 128? officially it should be 14~16 Do they give this as well?

17-18 is normal here. get around 20 on torrents. sometimes however at 13-14. overall satisfactory. reliability is cooooool.
