I dont understand why it's so high ??

What is the value of the equipment they are giving you ie router etc ? Can't be more than 5K , even that seems high to me !!! I can understand them wanting to be covered aginst loss of such, but in truth would not the same apply to anyone regardless of nationality.

Which means, do they charge a deposit or such at all ? i don't see it in any of the brochures, can someone who has a Airtel connection confirm this.

Otherwise, get your own router.

Its simple..Its because im a foreiger..But it is ok for them to walk around with an airtel postpaid cell-connection and i dont hear them complain when the thousands of rs. head their way every monthWorthless people!I should go to the office soon and slap their faces verbal way

I have airtel 128 unlimited since March, i am a foreigner too, so i putted the name of a colleague. the seller gave me this trick.my colleague just said he was living in my house when they called him and that's it. no big deposit to pay!the connection for me is perfect(for 128k), no disconnection at all, constant download at 16kb/s.

BSNL...Dont know if they can provide me, sinds i live on th edge of the jungle hereAirtel BB seems to be good, with this 128kbps i can download without Sify's way of eating validity days..But...something new happenedOnce again, i call Airtel and again i told the story and this guy, ery friendly told me that the 10k deposit is not true!I dont know anymore what this company is doing,,but i got a call today for signing AGAIN the application form and i think tomorrow some guy AGAIN comes for it...Is there no company here i can do business on a normal smooth way?seems to be extremely difficult
