My DSL breaks between 5:30 pm in the evening to around 2-3 am midnight. This has been happening with me for the past week. Strange enough, it works perfect during rest of the 24 hours without even blinking once. Another thing, even during those hours (5:30 pm to 3 am) it works fine when electricity of the locality is cut off. This has me baffled, I don't know what could be wrong with this?

Should I try replacing the wire? My connection is 4 years old.. Is it because of some interference caused by other electric appliances in my house or nearby.. which is causing interruption in signals...

Has anyone else experienced such kind of problem?

Please help me with this...

May be that is the peak time at your place. Try talking to someone knowledgeable at exchange.

The wire needs to be changed. Ask the JTO to check the insulation resistance, it takes 5 seconds to do from the exchange.
