I don't understand these bad reviews about ACT!

UPDATE :
After one and a half months, my connection was down and kinda fluctuating. I examined and found that a wire in Ethernet was cut somehow. I called ACT Helpline and the guy promised it would be fixed within 24 hours, and of course, I didn't buy his words. But to my surprise, the next day a service guy called me and replaced the connector soon after that. I'm so surprised to see this and as well as how people have complained about their service so far. I think these other ISP giants have been seriously ruining ACT's reputation online. Or I guess they have good service and sales guys near my area. I suggest to try ACT for everyone without a doubt, but don't give too much money in advance. Try with basic plans.
 
Most of these jokers have specially created an account to spam about act.. Lol. Btw is act available in pune?
 
No it is not as of now... Was expecting some good plans for 2014,guess nothing is in the pipeline too as they do not have competition

BSNL does have a competition in bangalore from act ? Do we see new plans for bangalore from bsnl to stay in competition ?
 
BSNL has no competition from any ISP in bangalore simply because of the fact that BSNL is everywhere(mediocre service aside), wheras others ISPs have terrible coverage.
 
An important point to consider is that people are more likely to rant online about a negative experience than a positive one. So you are generally expected to have more negative reviews anyway
 
I have been using ACT BB Force plan from Nov 2013 and it's been stable as of now except for occasional glitches. One exception which I can find in my area, Kundalahalli Gate is the nice support from technical personnel, who respond within a day atleast.
I am facing reduced speeds issue today even before reaching the FUP limit. Have raised a complaint on twitter and with customer care. Let's wait as to what happens.
 
Hi I have used ACT Broadband and my experience has been pathetic!!! I am surprised how ppl in blore still manage to give such wonderful feedback!!!
First of all , marketing guy Manjunath cheated me saying its a post-paid connection and collected deposit with advance rental...... within 5 days i am asked to pay again for next month!!! I am surprised and checked with cust care to find that ACT doesn't provide post paid .For having paid Rs 2000 as deposit continued with connection....
ACT bb cust care experience has been horrible....I was unable to make online payment and I raised 22 complaints with a week ,but problem never solved....I paid thru cheque with additional Rs 50 as collection charges,,,,,
I had issues of disconnection and slow speed for 5-10 within 1st month of using ACT bb ...my complaint used to be closed without my knowledge and problem still open!!!
Finally not even my single complaint was addressed properly...well i reached out nodal officer Hari prasad.... he is as use less as cust care!! I decided finally to call it quits and asked ACT to cancel my connection...well ACT made a big mess of it!!!
Which ISP provider charges for disconnection???? I paid my outstanding thru cheque as my online account was never activated!!!
but even after cancelling my account ACT has not returned my deposit nor cancelled my connection!!
I still get bills for Jan ,Feb 2014 ,when connection is closed in December 2013.....
I am a genuine reviewer and my account number with ACT bb was 412315
Also ,names of sales exec and nodal officer is real!!!
So its to u decide if ACT is really what it claims to be!!! This may be one off case or one of many cases ,but their arrogance shows!!!
ACT is Harassment @ HIGH speed!!!!
