I have been assigned Lead ID by Airtel for its broadband connection, does that mean connection is feasible at my location?

I have been trying to apply for Airtel Broadband, today I got a call from Airtel. They asked some details and now lead ID has been assigned. So has Airtel finished its feasibility and ready to give connection or they will still perform a feasibility check?

But is it VDSL or FTTH connection, do you know?

Run away from VDSL. It maxes out at 100 Mbps. It is not futureproof as well.

airtel ftth is not everywhere. i assume if ftth is available, airtel would give ftth by default.

i have been seeing airtel ftth posters in my locality in recent days. should check if they have finally started offering ftth in my locality. would have to pay double of what i am paying for the base plan though 😛

the 4mbps adsl i have is pretty useless tbh.

It's better than paying 1000 buck for a shitty 400 GB FUP on a 100 Mbps fibre connection in Jio. Let's see what kind of speed Airtel offers to me and whether 100 Mbps is feasible or not. Airtel's best plan for me is Rs. 1100 Unlimited data (3333 GB) @ 100 Mbps. They also have a plan with up to 300 Mbps speed, but I don't think I have a requirement of bandwidth more than 100 Mbps.

And tbh pings on JioFiber aren't that great. zEro LaTeNCy gaming my ass. We should be able to sue for claiming such BS.
