What is so difficult about clicking on the verification link? the spammer can easily setup a simple domain to receive such verification emails which are "verified" by the bots simply

but forums are more complicated than blogs.u have to go to a particular section. open up a new topic... and then submit it. i am not sure if its as simple as putting up a script to comment spam on a blog or generate emails to random mail ids... i am still pretty sure that this kind of spam is done manual... but of course spammers are too smart to overcome any kind of shit people throw at them!

sushubh, its pretty simple to write a script for forum spamming in python. it makes it really simple!
