I have a 8-9 year old 1TB Toshiba HDD + 240 GB SSD right now.

Yes, I can free up some space. But I think it's time I buy a new HDD, because Toshiba might fail at anytime. It has some bad sectors.

My usage is pretty basic, I mostly do photo and video editing on this PC, and I take online backups as well.

Once I get a new HDD, I will transfer data to the Toshiba drive which is of little value and isn't frequently accessed.

@Samuel I got the same Toshiba model in 2020. Serving me good. Use it as a backup. My experience with Seagate has been bad. Either WD or Toshiba.
Just confirm one thing whether Amazon's giving enough packaging. Offlate they have gone carton-free in the name of environmental protection but it damaged my BP monitoring device during transit. On replacement it came with a proper carton.
Or you can get one from Prime Abgb or Md computers. You can't go wrong with their packaging (atleast Md computers).

Nope, I got it from Prime so I know I can eat their head if any issues prop around.
Maybe the buyer got it from Amazon seller so difficult to comment about warranty. Possible since getting imported in bulk helps to reduce costs.
If you are getting it from reputed stores (Nehru, Prime, Md, Vedant) you can be rest assured with a resolution should any issue arise. With Amazon, you may have to do send drives on your own.
