If he doesn't care about fast software upgrades considering Motorola is pretty damn slow, Edge 30. Though finding a good back cover for the phone is damn near impossible. I am stuck with the default cover I got with the box so far. Maybe in time.

+1 for Moto devices where simplicity is at a higher priority. Moto camera is average. So if you are looking for camera, look at Samsung or Xiaomi phones.
