IDFC FIRST Bank

I received the rekyc sms 5-6 months back. I emailed them the form, then they asked for pan and adhaar. and then they wanted all documents together under 4mb. Only to revert that details are not clearly visible.

So I just ignored it. My account is still active.
 
Their email support is very poor from my experience.

And my pan card pic is kinda blurry, it's old and scanned photo became too white. So that creates problems with vkyc when opening account. i am guessing again that will be the problem if i email them.

Will check once with nearby branch it has horrible reviews and my account is not with them.

Seems all their staff is busy spam calling. Still didn't received any call back from them.
 
This bank only has modern netbanking UI. UPI goes down every evening during busy hours so cannot say their tech is good.

Their staff is filled with complete idiots literally dumb people. I emailed the kyc form and self attested id as stated on their website (KYC Updation) and email but now they are replying to fill the same thing along with another declaration form which shows not found on their website.

The best part is they have closed the service request as solved without doing anything and nothing about why they cannot process the application. Helpline number is 1860 now which I cannot connect from airtel with recharging extra.

I think I will just keep minimum 10k and stop using this account if they cannot solve this.

edit: i asked about this to a branch guy who was calling for credit card he doesn't know anything about this process, was asking if I don't do transactions regularly. I said I use it daily for upi and well he doesn't know anything about this.

what is the process of re-kyc from this link? is it online?

it's really frustrating to deal with this bank they never know how to do anything properly.

So I got a call after pinging then on twitter again. So this lady tried to help but unfortunately she doesn't know how it works and was reading me their previous email reply 😑

1. She cannot open the attachment form I have sent.
2. Cannot see my replies to their email.
3. Cannot email the form directly which was not opening for me. Apparently it only works if you manually copy paste the URL. Their link tracker adds extra parameters to url and it doesn't work. Difficult to notice, well she could not tell.

I yelled a bit when she kept repeating the same thing and cannot check the kyc update process on their website or tell me the kyc update process. Everything is mysterious no one knows who knows the process, it's some mysterious team we cannot connect directly.

Yeah it was a long call and only conclusion is to try again with aadhaar declaration form 🥲

I don't blame her if she doesn't have access to anything useful.

Last update: i sent them everything on 29 Jan via email. The clowns as usual could not follow their 5 days TAT to respond and I had to remind them.

Now they are telling they cannot process application because place of birth is missing. That section was for facta declaration and i wrote only country. Seriously after 10 days they are saying this and provide no way to just correct it.

Most stupid thing is they have again closed the ticket again. It really makes me mad. So they expect me to again send them form again then wait 10 days to start the process again.

No reply from head cs, nodal officer. Not even acknowledgment.

They don't want to even try to help.

Will close this account, cannot deal with this idiotic system.
 
On my credit card account, when I asked them to update the mobile number, they did a half baked job. At some places in their system mobile number is updated while it is not updated at some places. The solution they give is get the number updated again!
 
I opened my account completely online so obviously my email and mobile number was entered in the system. But i was not getting transaction sms so I contacted them first they could not figure out then told me mobile number is not updated. Idk how that is possible when I opened the account online and some OTP was required.


So I told them to update it which again was only possible if i visit the branch and given a written application on paper. Which was stupid because I could have just visited the branch and skip the whole online process. There was other issues with vkyc too which is why I was more irritated. I just opened the account and there was so many issues.

They were quite actively trying to board new customer those days, so customer support not willing to provide a solution to retain a customer was just idiotic.

Somehow i contacted branch via email, they don't provide direct contact of branch even if you ask crazy stuff. There was this only one guy working in the whole branch managing operations he sent a 'runner boy' to collect documents from my home. After that it again took some back n forth. Branch obviously wanted to retain the customer.

Good thing I did not opted for their credit card or any other product. One mistake I did is opened my mother's account and created some FDs. They have started spamming on my mother's number too.

There is literally no grievance redressal system they can close tickets without your approval or a minimum notice.
 
2 days back, gave request for card upgrade on email. Today they created the SR and asked for salary slips. In another email at the same time close the very same SR on which they asked for additional dox
 
lol wtf is wrong with this bank after ignoring their kyc msgs for so long I got it done last month. Its not even a month actually and support was saying no kyc due is showing in their system but anyway since it was pending from so long they agreed to send someone at my address and completed kyc offline.

Now today again I am getting kyc update msg and they also have link to confirm no change in kyc but that still doesn't work for me. I was hoping after offline rekyc the link problem will be fixed.
