Imgur is blocking logins and uploads from Indian users

Can confirm that Imgur is mass-blocking accounts from India.

I've had an account there for many years and was a regular user. Got locked out a few months ago. Tried everything, eventually contacted support.

They replied after quite a while with the following:

Hey there,
Thanks for your message.
We're sorry for the confusion caused here.
At this time, Imgur does not support upload or sign in functions within your geographical region.
You are more than welcome to browse Imgur, however, as a result of the above you will experience sporadic errors anytime you interact with the platform.
We do not know at this time if we will support such functionality in the future.

Also, they're blocking VPNs too (at least, NordVPN for me).

Ironically, I was going to post a screenshot of the support email, but then remembered that Imgur was my go-to image host, and I can't use it anymore.
 
I was wondering why imgur was not working for the past few months. imgur is only working with select locations like New York from select VPNs.
 
I have given up. Switched to IBB. It's not great. They tend to remove a lot more images randomly. And there are a lot of downtimes.
