Imgur is blocking logins and uploads from Indian users

Since couple of days I've been prompted with the following error code whenever I'm trying to access imgur. thought its some temp thing but I tried accessing it via VPN now & its opening good! Just wanted to check the same with others...

So the images are also not loading? They load from i.imgur.com iirc. Might be open.
 
images are not loading as well; i.imgur.com is auto-redirected to imgur.com leading to error page as of now

PS: app is working normal though
 
domain redirects. even direct link to images redirect.

but does a hotlinked image work like on this page:

Blocked on airtel fiber. Working on the local FFTH connection.
