even calls from internet telephony is being getting caught (those shows 555 or +401) kind of numbers (skype, yahoo n all)And, our Intelligence Bureau are not like BSNL guys. They know how to find and they are finding most of the cases ! I remember a case where someone sent a mail to APJ Abdul Kalam from a cyber center in kerala ! (a dynamic ip)Guys, they found out the cyber cafe initially (pretty easy) and even found the computer from which he sent email ! (may be the port he used at that time) ! Person got arrested in a day ! so, it is not just IP, even the ports are getting logged ! by the way,wont these anonymous proxy's log our IP? . I think they will, as they are known to everyone these days ! I use it only when my IP address range gets banned and want to talk to the person of that sites !In orkut, someone posted fake profile about mayavati and some software engineer from Bangalore got arrested and sent to jail for 41 days ! Later they found that, it wasnt him, and ISP had gave wrong info by mistaking AM and PM! What a pathetic situation ! I think he filed a case against police for crores (Dont know the latest update)Better stay away from risks !
