Impact of installing European Android firmware in Indian model

I have Galaxy Music Duos which is having Android 4.0.4. Some European markets are having 4.1.2 for this model. I found guide on XDA forum which explains installing European (Greece) verison of 4.1.2 on any other region model.

I wanted to know what functionalities will be lost if I install non-Indian version on my handset. Also would I lose support for Indian languages in UI?
 
Whatever you try make sure that you can reverse it!

Some firmwares have different radio frequencies. So they may not work as expected.

But no harm in trying as long as you can reverse in case anything goes wrong.

Support for Indian language may OR may not go but you may have to install that language.

Yeah. Just make a Nandroid backup and save a copy in PC too. If anything remotely goes wrong then you can just restore to previous OS
