^^ Congress has improved its tally far more than BJP, BJP hasn't improved at all, they are stuck with almost the same number of seats as last time.

It is now upto SP if it wants to join hands with Congress or just pick some of the independent ones. Punjab and most likely Uttarakhand go to BJP and allies.Goa is already gone to BJP.Cong retains Manipur
