Then they'd find a way to only cache data locally or accelerate it through peering arrangements while hosting it in less headache countries like Sri Lanka, or Singapore.
personally i do not think they would keep things sane for me to keep this site functional till even 2024. would have to see how i would keep my media watching habit work if VPN services are disrupted.
What I don’t get is why they are doing it in such a weird way. They blocked TikTok. Just like that. It is practically THE MOST POPULAR platform on the web today. They could just announce a ban on non-corporate usage of VPNs and it would be widely applauded. Just say it’s in the name of national security. No judge would bother to rule against such a ban.
I guess it would be hard to justify this on an international scale.
@Sushubh have you ever got stuck in any legal stuff due to this forum or hosting or anything regarding this? Has any ISP or person has did anything which ever put you in situation like this? Isn't hosting this site required your details? What if someday government tells you to take down this site? (Although it's never gonna happen). Maybe it's just me being in a weird state of mind at 2:14 AM
