I have 200mbps fiber connection. These are the "normal" pings on any given day on Airtel Fiber. Why are they using "fiber" if they are gonna provide pings worst than 2g connection? Is there any solution?

Airtel is the only reliable ISP downtime wise, I had switched other ISP but it had frequent disconnections even if pings were super stable.

Are you testing using a cable or wifi? Mine averages somewhere around 40ms with Jio Airfiber. It'll spike up to 60-70 here and there, but to be fair I'm also only testing on WiFi and my pings to router can vary by up to 10ms...

Even if it was stable at say 80, I wouldn't really care too much. my main priority is limiting downtime and having predictable Internet. With airfiber it seems you can just move the equipment whenever you move house, so there's that added bonus too...

Yeah I've only started to test gaming. I tried a bit of GeforeNow, seemed playable through Japan and Australia. Don't think I'd do multi-player but for single player it seems good enough with my latency. I'm going to test local Indian cloud gaming soon that might be even better I suspect.

As a side note, today (Saturday) my Google pings are averaging about 80 atm...
This is obviously due to congestion. I wonder if mmwave would fix this? Or is it a question of improving the backhaul?

Still I don't really care that much, and I expect it to only improve with time!
