installation issues with Jio mesh router

Same issue is back for one of the mesh extender. Registered service request.

So i think the problem is mesh settings has to be enabled manually from Jio Fiber Router. For that you need to login to Jio Router page by using default IP https://192.168.29.1 and login. For default credentials, use “admin” as username and “Jiocentrum”. Once logged in, go to status > Mesh Network > Mesh Configuration > Mesh Enable. Select it to on and click save. Then router will reboot and then try to pair mesh router again. It should work.

You need two Wifi mesh routers. One Mesh wifi has to be connected with router all the time and other one can be placed anywhere. So technically one alone mesh wifi wont work unlesss you have a long lan cable where you can connect the mesh router to it. Mesh wifi communicated to mesh wifi only so router to mesh isn't possible. You have to buy more than one mesh for functioning.

This one worked for me ! Thanks! The Jio guy on phone gave me the wrong password JioCentrum instead of Jiocentrum

I do not have this mesh Option itself, So its an issue with Jio home Gateway?

I tried to connect the Jio Mesh extender JCM0112 through Jio Gateway, but it did not work. The I saw Anirban's YouTube vdo and tried to do it through Jio Home App going to My Network - click on three dashes on top left of screen - add new wifi devices - ensure extender powered on and LAN Cable connected - click lets start-scan QR Code behind extender or enter RSN No and Model No manually - click proceed. If it does not work reboot router. Unfortunately for me it still didnt work.

Without reading issues I also purchaged JIO mesh , Now I am also facing all above issues
1. Jio mesh never pair with Wifi . All time we need to connect LAN
2. Moving to router coverage to mesh coverage , internet drops . in short mesh never able to provide internet even though it connected to mesh .
It never connect automatically from router coverage to mesh area.

I bought Mesh Router yesterday 23rd Feb 2025
The problem is the wifi LED does not become steady ( it keeps on blinking )
Also as soon as LAN cable is disconnected to extender the Wifi and LAN LED goes off and the extender does not work
