Router : Archer c5 1200 , fiber : Huawei Ont
Internet provide : Excitel
So I recently upgraded my plan from 100 to 300mbps , I thought my router wasn't compatible. But the provider told to connect my pc directly to fiber and test it, boom 300mbps. After a while I tested again (still connected to fiber ont) , it dropped to 100mbps.
It show in my router gateway, connection speed:1000mbps but then it shows connection speed :100mbps
I raised a complain again, connected my fiber ont to my router , they told me to restart my main router ( fiber ont) , and it goes to 300mbps . But after a while my wifi disconnects and the speed goes back to 100mbps . Restart the fiber ont, and magically it goes to 300mbps
My provider ain't helping me, saying the issue is of the router and as they didn't provider me with the router they can't fix it.
