Internet using Lan Card or USB ?

Hi,Am using Airtel broadband. adsl modem beetel. i used lan card for connecting modem and comp. now am using USB cable, sometimes it hangs. is there anything that can be done to prevent this ? .Thank u

you should uninstall and reinstall the USB drivers... whenever I had probs I just did this and things became normal for sometime I used the new modem from Airtel which had ethernet and USB (I guess u also have this)... currently I'm using the USB only modem (Beetel one.. with globespan virata chipset this is the one airtel gave in the beginning) bcos the new modem needs external power which bcomes useless when theres a power cut..

why don't u go 4 lan connectivity
