Though a good product, i ll wait for year or two for prices to go down and reviews to crop up.
 
LIFX has a 10 white bulb sale at $299 for 24 hrs.

like them, works on wifi, does not need any hub, works with Amazon echo too. I would wait for something similar to sell for sub 1k in India. After all it is only and LED bulb with wifi and few other circuits. A wifi router today can be bought sub 1K, guess it it just a matter of time.
