iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S on Airtel

Has anybody tried iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S offers of Airtel? As per the website, they offer only 3G data. This is very annoying, particularly now that the govt is hell bent on creating more and more nonsense (why the hell did they not offer pan-India 3G license to operators? May be they want the telcos to finance them for the next elections).The last time I took the 3G plan, my incoming calls and messages stopped (Maharashtra circle user in Mumbai). I deserted 3G within 3 weeks. Does anybody know whether this problem has been fixed? Has anybody noticed any other catch in the plans?

i dunno of other areas but m a iPhone 4 user on airtel delhi.
i get good speeds.normally abt 3mbps dpwnload and peaks of about 5.5mbps ( http://speedtest.net/result/1649618925.png).
no problem what so ever...!!

Airtel 3G offers high speeds in Android phone ( average 3mbps and early morning up to 7 mbps)
