Is 2 rupees every 3 days extension still a thing?

Only for BSNL customers. Others have their own rules. For example, my Jio SIM bought during beta trail still has incoming working just fine. I haven't recharged it for years.

I wish i port one of the numbers to Jio to have a try. But, the point is if the deactivate the number one fine day, it will be a issue to get the number activated again.

Keeping one of my BSNL numbers active with 107 recharges. That's what i like from BSNL.

This is the best compared to any other plans provided by mobile operators. I think even VI discontinued it's 99 per month plan.

BSNL also has ₹201 plan with 90 days validity.

There is a catch. ₹201 plan is valid only for GP2 numbers. Grace Period 2 that happens after a 7-day GP1 (when we don't have outgoing facilities). I plan to switch to it as soon as one of my BSNL numbers reaches GP2.

Includes 300 minutes of free calls, 99 SMS and 6GB of data.
