Is anyone using 512 Kbs Unlm plan, if so what do they sync u at? and do u get full 512 all the time. I am asking because currently im using 256 kbps plan and im synced at 256, so because of the loss etc I get around 220.

they will sync u to 512, u wont get full 512kbps...maybe u will get around 450 to 480kbps depending on your line condition and distance from exchange.

I am using a 512 kbps connection (but not the unllimited) in Mumbai from dec 2005, I am synced at 2038 downstream & 510 upstream. U can see my speednet result below, even thought that test shows lower than usual. Incidentally when my upstreram was synced at 256 I used to get better DL speeds !!!!

I stay very close to xchange, I dont think anyone here can beat my signal stats. How is this possible, they r giving 500 free calls for nothing?

Well, UL from MTNL is too costly, it costs 1900 Rs with 500 calls free...but i would recommend going for airtel (UL 512= 1450rs), there is no point in spending those additional 450Rs for the sake of 500 calls.Does anybody know weather they will give 512Ul without those 500 calls, if they do then it would be costing around 1450 Rs, then they can give some competition to airtels 512UL
