Have lot of confusion on this topic some users are saying its Postpaid (Billing System) Some saying its Prepaid

also in excitel own Website T&C its mentioned as prepaid
  1. Tariffs/Charges for the plans chosen are to be paid in advance and such charges are not refundable as this is a prepaid service

Apologies if this question sounds naive, but it comes from someone who was previously misled into getting an Airtel postpaid connection that was falsely marketed as prepaid

I'm asking this because, in the YouTube video below the person mentioned that you can freeze your connection something I may have misunderstood as "Safe Custody"

So is this only Prepaid wifi where you can pause the connection so as to increase plan validity! WOW

It's pretty prepaid. You select a plan. You pay for it and you get to use it for the duration. I haven't taken a break after plan expiry but I assume that works. Not sure what they do if someone only recharges for a month or two in a year. I guess network is still maintained coz the main cable is serving multiple users. The cable coming to your plan would be repaired if you have an active plan probably.

so this is what i have. i paid for a year in october 2024 in advance. and i get to use the internet till october this year. i would prepay for another year in october 2025 assuming everything stays fine and get to use it for another year. so pretty prepaid from what i see.

from my understanding, there is no option to freeze/pause a connection. i haven't seen it myself. this is the first time i am reading about it. maybe if you contact customer care but seems unlikely. you can maybe pay monthly and only pay when you need connectivity?
